You see a glimmer of yourself reflected upon the forsaken dunes. You hit the sand. Drenched in the sweat of fatigue, drowning in the sun stare. You start digging to find what once was buried there. What lies behind the glamour of forgotton isles? Carnal fire will not be confined, take the consequence. The burning flame of triumph is a gift of the cognizance within. I can feel this burning embrace. And so you'll fall in the pit, charting new worlds into your soul to find a demon of lust and hate, with a taste for your decaying bones. Sultry kisses of darkness seducing your demise, consumed by fear and isolation gripping your flesh. You can only feel the price of sin. In the isle of truth your weakness was forgotten. The burning flame of triumph, it is found behind the glamour. You can see what lies within. Why should I keep digging my own grave? I'll climb out with heavy sand at my feet. I will reach out and grasp what has become of me. Can you see what lies within? The burning flame is a triumphant gift of what you find buried in forgotton isles.
